A Unique And Fascinating Background

From the Nazi regime of Hitler Germany, throughout WWII and Communism, from the rise of the Berlin Wall to its celebrated fall, three generations of Michael's family held true to their faith in God.

Michael's grandfather was among the 3% of German school teachers who refused to join the Nazi Party. He endured persecution under Hitler and the Communists only to become an evangelist testifying to God's faithfulness.

Michael's father was a pastor behind the Berlin Wall, his mother a music and sunday school teacher. Together they built their church and raised a Christian family in the midst of a Communist dictatorship.

Michael grew up behind the Berlin Wall of Communist East Germany. Starting at age seven he learned make tough choices and to defend his faith in a atheist society and socialist education system. He was seventeen when he saw the Berlin Wall come down and gained freedom. He is now leading Challenger Music & Evangelism Ministry sharing his story, music and messages with people in America.
