What a blessing you are! Your testimony and your obvious love for the Lord touched many hearts."

Columbus Christian Fellowship:
"Columbus Christian Fellowship in Columbus, WI, had Michael Furchert come for a wonderful service of music and sharing. We feel that Michael has a very needed message for the USA. Our people were challenged to value our freedoms and privileges. Michael is very good as a Christian cultural speaker and would be so valuable for the USA to continue what he is doing so well for many more years."
Larry J. Campbell, Sr. Pastor, Columbus, WI
Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle:
"We have thoroughly enjoyed Mike! What a refreshing, solid example of Christian character put to the test and emerging with a brilliance that so beautifully reflects the grace, mercy and victory that the power of Jesus can impact to the committed life. Thank you, Mike, for sharing your life with us!"
Pastor Phil Baker - Smithtown, NewYork
Faith Baptist Church:
"Michael has experienced a great deal in his young life and it was good for our students to hear about what life was like behind the Berlin Wall. Most of our students knew very little about the Berlin Wall and what went on behind it for those who lived there. Freedom is a foundational element of our society and it's something our young people need to value and protect."
Mark Wheller - Asst. Pastor, Park Rapids, MN
Glad Tidings Assembly of God:
"Mike was great! He preached a challenging message to be bold for the Lord. Our kids' eyes were opened to the freedom they have and encouraged not to take it for granted. Mike was open and honest and really shared from his heart. His sincerity came through in his message and his passion for the lost is evident. He truly understands what Christ's sacrifice means for him and challenges others to take a stand for Jesus."
Pastor Kevin Chelf, Duluth, MN
Honey Creek New Providence Friends Church:
"We would encourage others to take the opportunity to hear Michael. It will be a time to be challenged on how we approach our daily activities and to appreciate the freedoms which we have in this country."
Pastor Arlen Daleske -New Providence, Iowa
Cornerstone Baptist Church:
"Michael's music was beautiful and moving (very educational for children who loved it and didn't have much experience with classical music before) He was an interesting, likable speaker also. Although the adults were very riveted by him, even the children of younger age were captured by his stories."
Diane Bayer, Beaver Dam, WI
Meteor Hills Bible Church:
"The message Michael brought helped to establish a cultural understanding and certainly helped our people to learn and grow in their personal lives. As a Christian cultural speaker and pianist, he was very well received by young and older people alike. As Pastor, I know that I speak for all of our congregation when I express our hope that Michael can remain in the USA for another year."
Pastor Lawrence J. Hawley, Exeland, WI
Faith United Methodist Church:
"We asked Michael Furchert to do a presentation at our church this past Sunday. His message and presentation were powerful, touching and inspirational. Following his presentation and special music, the congregation gave him a standing ovation, something that happens very seldom in this congregation. I find Michael Furchert to be a strong speaker, calling us to be the very best that we were created to be. His presentation touched the hearts of all ages. I would highly recommend Michael."
Rev. Joel Certa- Werner, Superior, WI
First Lutheran Church:
"Michael came to First Lutheran Church in Little Falls as part of our yearly celebration following our building project. We invited the Falls community to come and hear the Gospel message and how it is to live the Gospel in Germany. Michael also spoke to our High School Social Studies classes. What an eye-opener for the American students to hear about life in another country. It is so important to have messages like Michael's so that our children don't take our rights and responsibilities for granted. Michael's message through word and music was important for us to hear. People's lives may be very different but God is and always will be the same."
Laurie Kluver,Coordinator, Little Falls, MN
Concordia Lutheran Church:
"Thank you for your message in word and music on August 20th. We know that your message touched the hearts of many people. Blessings in your ministry."
Pastors Maggie & Scott, Superior, WI
Ogema Baptist Church:
"We so enjoyed Michael Furchert's testimony to the young people in our church. His life experiences were an example and testimony to this group of kids to help them understand what a great value their freedom is in this country. I believe it helped them to better understand, appreciate and respect that freedom. His message was also an education in cultural understanding. His love for the Lord was quite evident as he shared with our youth and challenged them to remain strong in their faith and true to their God. I appreciate that this young man is willing to share his life story with young people across the nation."
Jennifer Blomberg, Youth Director, Ogema, WI
Temple Baptist Church:
"Michael Furchert shared about his experiences growing up in East Berlin before the fall of Communism. His words were moving. His life is a great example of one who endured hardship, yet has a love for life and a respect for his country. Michael shared with several of our youth as well as a concert of original music with an audience of all ages. Many spoke highly of his cultural presentation of life in the former East Germany. Michael's sharing of his personal faith in Jesus was especially appreciated."
Pastor Randell Jaspers - Senior Pastor, Jamestown, ND

"It is my distinct pleasure to recommend to you the ministry of Michael Furchert. Our congregation was blessed and enlightened by his recent message and music performance at our church."
Bob Bressert, Pastor, Radcliffe, Iowa

"We appreciate Michael Furchert very much. He is a positive influence upon our church and community. His message and life can be a real blessing and encouragement to all who hear his story of trial and difficulty. I pray he will stay in our country."
Rev. Larry Forsberg - Senior Pastor, Stillwater, MN
Emanuel Baptist Church:
"Michael Furchert ministered at our church last February, 2000. He was very well received by our people who found his story very compelling. It is hard for us in America to fathom what it would be like to grow up some place where you do not have the freedoms that we enjoy. I believe his story is one of hope, courage and encouragement to all who hear. He is also a very fine pianist!"
Pastor John Anderson,Virginia, MN
First Lutheran Church:
"Once again, I thank you for coming to First Lutheran Church and sharing in today's Rally Day Worship! It was fun having all three of you with us and hearing Michael's challenging message with his beautiful music. Michael: You are extremely gifted. I pray that you will be able to share your on-going message of Christ's life changing grace! Diane, thank you for sharing enough to help support this young man. Indeed, you are standing up for a cause that God is inspiring. Carol, I pray that you will always remember that God is working through you."
Pastor Dan Clites, Brainerd, MN
Berlin Christian Church:
"His message is one more that Americans need to hear. We loved his music. It was different than heard before. My children had an education that weekend that they would not have been able to receive any other way. We support Michael's continuing work in America."
Rev. Dr. Deborah Zalusky, Pastor, Berlin, WI
Perham Assembly of God:
"Michael Furchert has a very positive and needed message that challenges young and old alike to endure hardship and persevere for the things you value the most. His background is unique and it seems to give him a measure of credibility not every speaker enjoys. From a cultural standpoint, Michael opens our minds to a world very different from the one most American in the Midwest are familiar with. Michael's musical talent and speaking skills are needed in the USA because they are being put to use in such a positive way. I believe his audience comes away feeling more patriotic and blessed as well as challenged to stand against negative peer pressure which can lead to destructive life-style choices."
Larry Copeland, Sr. Pastor, Perham, MN
Trinity Lutheran Church
Dear Michael....We so much enjoyed your time of sharing with us this past weekend. Your work as a cultural Christian speaker and pianist was very much appreciated. You opened our eyes to celebrate the freedom we have and not take it for granted. We would love to have you return again in the future if this is possible."
Pastor Keven G. Frey - New Hampton Iowa 50659

Dear Michael - Thank you so much for providing such an outstanding program for our congregation. Your music was profoundly healing to the spirits of all of us, and your faith comments, historical reflections, and cultural perceptions really did encourage us to live our lives in a more spiritual way."
Pastor Grover T. Briggs - Miles City, Montana 59301
Grace Community Church
As senior pastor of Grace Community Church, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the work of Michael Furchert as a Christian Cultural Speaker and Pianist. He excels at both.
I am actually glad to be writing this now. How fitting in these days following the terrible events of Sept. 11 to dwell anew on the blessings we have been given in America. Michael's recollections of growing up in East Berlin further serve to make us thankful for the many freedoms in our country. For a long time it has been easy for so many of us to take much of what we have for granted. But even as many Americans have gained a new sober appreciation for such freedoms in recent days, Michael's message also serves as a serious reminder to not forget the One who has so bless us.
In addition, during these days all America has forcibly had its cultural tunnel vision removed as we have thought about attacks originating outside the U.S. On the other hand, we also see people from many nations rising up in our defense. To better appreciate all this we need to understand cultures outside our own. Again, Michael's words are a help in this regard. By looking at his cultural background and customs we more easily develop the habit of looking beyond the borders of our homeland. His God-gifted abilities at music reinforce his message.
Our congregation appreciated Michael's visit very much and we believe his message would benefit many people, now more than ever. It is through work such as his that we grow individually and individual strength can positively impact the nation at this crucial time.
Jeff Kroll - Senior Pastor - Worthington, MN 56187
