KBJR NEWS 6:
"In May of 2000, Michael Furchert was a featured guest on News 6 at Noon. Furchert was a part of our cultural awareness segment that highlights community members with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Furchert served to illustrate to Northland viewers how international events can be related at a local level. Michael spoke at length about his hardship growing up in a communist country and when given the opportunity, came to America to allow his musical talent to flourish. Michael serves as a prime example of a young man who has not let life's hurdles keep him down."

LESEA National Television Broadcasting Network:
"Michael's music and his message are very valuable and they contribute to the betterment of our society. The cultural impact he is having is incredible. Not only is he spreading hope and encouragement through his talks, his music is mesmerizing. It sparked interest in our viewing audience as well as we received phone calls and letters asking where they could obtain Michael's music. He is a very valuable asset to the speaker circuit and he plays piano with intense feelings. We'd love to keep him around."
