The Inspiring Account of
How a Movement of Faith & Prayer Changed History
In 1987, the American President Ronald Reagan stood in front of the Berlin Wall in West Berlin and called out to the leader of the Soviet Union with words that would soon become famous across the world:
“Mr. Gorbachev, Open This Gate!
Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall!”
The East German dictator responded with defiance proclaiming that the Berlin Wall would stand for another 100 years convinced that neither Western democracy, nor religion nor any god could triumph over Communism.
The peaceful Revolution that was about to start in the East German churches would prove him wrong. It would set a fire aflame that could no longer but put out.
A movement of faith and prayer was about to change history.
In this exciting account, East German speaker and pianist, Michael Furchert, takes us into the heart of the Peaceful Revolution that he experienced as a teenager. He challenges Christians in America to remember the strength we have to impact lives, transform societies and change history.
Includes Two of Michael’s Original Piano Composition.
