“The vision of Spirit Fest Midwest is to bring healing and strengthening to families. Michael’s message about the hardships he and his family faced in East Germany and the power of a family sticking together, was truly inspirational to the crowd on Saturday. There were a little over 10,000 in attendance when Michael spoke. As he spoke about the value of family, parents as well as young people were encouraged to let go of some of the truly petty things that divide families to work together as a family.”

“As President of Christian Camping Int../USA, a professional association serving over 1000 Christian camps and conferences in the USA, I had the privilege of hearing Michael perform and share his rich cultural experience at a meeting where more than 200 camp and conference leaders were present. I know that those present were greatly enriched by his wonderful artistry and also his story of life in East Berlin before and after the “wall” came down. Since these leaders serve tens of thousands of youth and adults annually, their experience was greatly enhanced and they found occasion to share positively with many others.”

“We have thoroughly enjoyed Michael! What a refreshing, solid example of Christian character put to the test and emerging with a brilliance that so beautifully reflects the grace, mercy and victory that the power of Jesus can impact to the committed life. Thank you, Michael, for sharing your life with us!”

Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle, New York Pastor Phil Baker

“The message Michael brought established a cultural understanding and helped our people to learn and grow in their personal lives. As a Christian speaker and pianist, he was very well received by young and older people alike. As Pastor, I know that I speak for all of our congregation when I express our hope that Michael will remain in the USA.”

Meteor Hills Bible Church, Exeland, Wisconsin Pastor Lawrence J. Hawley

“We asked Michael Furchert to do a presentation at our church. His message was powerful, touching and inspirational. Following his presentation and music, the congregation gave him a standing ovation, something that happens very seldom in this congregation. Michael Furchert is a strong speaker, calling us to be the very best that we were created to be. His presentation touched the hearts of all ages. I would highly recommend Michael.”

Faith United Methodist Church, Superior, Wisconsin Rev. Joel Certa-Werner

“We so enjoyed Michael Furchert’s testimony to the young people in our church. His life experience was an example and testimony to this group of kids to help them understand, appreciate and respect their freedom in this country. His message was education in cultural understanding. His love for the Lord was evident as he challenged our youth to remain strong in their faith and true to God. I appreciate that Michael is willing to share his life story with people across the nation.”

“Once again, I thank you for coming to First Lutheran Church and sharing in today’s Rally Day Worship! It was fun having all three of you with us and hearing Michael’s challenging message with his beautiful music. Michael: You are extremely gifted. I pray that you will be able to share your on-going message of Christ’s life changing grace! Diane, thank you for sharing enough to help support this young man. Indeed, you are standing up for a cause that God is inspiring. Carol, I pray that you will always remember that God is working through you.”

First Lutheran Church, Brainered, MN Pastor Dan Clites

“Michael Furchert has a very positive and needed message that challenges young and old alike to endure hardship and persevere for the things you value the most. His background is unique and it seems to give him a measure of credibility not every speaker enjoys. From a cultural standpoint, Michael opens our minds to a world very different from the one most American in the Midwest are familiar with. Michael’s musical talent and speaking skills are needed in the USA. His audience comes away feeling more patriotic and blessed as well as challenged to stand against negative peer pressure which can lead to destructive life-style choices.”

Dear Michael – Thank you so much for providing such an outstanding program for our congregation. Your music was profoundly healing to the spirits of all of us, and your faith comments, historical reflections, and cultural perceptions really did encourage us to live our lives in a more spiritual way.”

“As senior pastor of Grace Community Church, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the work of Michael Furchert as a Christian Speaker and Pianist. He excels at both. How fitting in these days following the terrible events of Sept. 11 to dwell anew on the blessings we have been given in America. Michael’s recollections of growing up in East Berlin further serve to make us thankful for the many freedoms in our country. For a long time it has been easy for so many of us to take much of what we have for granted. But even as many Americans have gained a new sober appreciation for such freedoms in recent days, Michael’s message also serves as a serious reminder to not forget the One who has so bless us. His God-gifted abilities at music reinforce his message. Our congregation appreciated Michael’s visit very much and we believe his message would benefit many people, now more than ever. It is through work such as his that we grow individually and individual strength can positively impact the nation at this crucial time.”

“Michael shared his compelling story first with our seniors on their Senior Trip and then we invited him to come to our campus to speak to all of our 650 students. The story of his family’s life in East Berlin captured the students and held their attention better than we ever expected. I can give the highest recommendation to Michael Furchert and his ministry.”

“Northwood Children’s Services in Duluth, MN is the oldest and largest residential treatment center for troubled youth in the state. Michael Furchert has been a guest speaker on three occasions and was very beneficial to our students in expanding their understanding of cultural diversity issues and the relevance of faith to personal growth. Our students had no previous exposure to testimonies of persecution related to spiritual corrections. For some, freedom in our nation is less taken for granted. I would like to see Michael continue to share his message in the USA!”
